The early days of BQuest Beadz were post-retirement hobby. Paulette handcrafted statement pieces, intricately detailed beaded necklaces, the kind that make people do a double take! Eventually the hobbyist evolved into a skilled artisan. Paulette creates beautiful, colorful jewelry that is easy to wear, stylish and distinctive.

Her work has been featured in the AARP’s “Life Reimagined” series that aired on ABC. She has one first place awards in multiple bead challenges in Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC. She’s a member of the Baltimore Bead Society, where she also teaches beading classes. She’s a member of the North Virginia Handcrafters Guild, and current chair of the Standards Committee which juries non-members entrance into the Guild.
